New Patients

Everything you need to know before your first visit.

We're glad you're here. Whether you were referred by a friend or found us on your own, we want your first visit to go smoothly. Here's what to expect.

Before You Arrive

Save yourself time in the waiting room by downloading and filling out your forms ahead of your appointment:

If you're transferring from another dental office, we can request your records directly. Just let us know when you call to schedule.

Your First Appointment

Plan for about an hour. Your first visit includes:

A conversation. We want to know about your dental history, any concerns you have, and what you're hoping to accomplish. If you've had a bad experience at a dental office before, tell us. We'd rather know.

A thorough exam. Your doctor will check your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw. We look for cavities, signs of gum disease, oral cancer, and anything else that needs attention.

X-rays. We'll take digital x-rays to see what's happening below the surface — decay between teeth, bone health, and developing issues that aren't visible during the exam.

A cleaning. In most cases, we'll do a professional cleaning at your first visit. If we find gum disease or heavy buildup that needs a different approach, we'll explain why and schedule accordingly.

A plan. Before you leave, we'll talk through what we found and what we recommend. No pressure, no surprises. You'll know exactly what's going on with your teeth and what your options are.

Office Hours

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Insurance and Payment

We're committed to making dental care affordable. Here's how we handle the financial side:

Insurance: We work with most dental insurance plans. We'll file your claim, provide estimates in good faith, and help you understand your benefits. Because insurance contracts vary, we can't guarantee coverage — but we'll give you our best estimate before treatment begins. Your estimated portion is due at the time of service.

Payment methods: We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Financing: For larger treatment plans, we offer CareCredit financing so you can spread payments over time. We also offer in-house payment arrangements. Ask us about options that work for your situation.

Our billing process: We submit claims to your insurance and allow 45 days for them to pay. If the balance remains unpaid by the insurer after 60 days, it becomes the patient's responsibility.

Cancellation Policy

We set aside time specifically for your appointment, so we ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. We understand that things come up — just give us as much notice as you can.
